Harry A. Higuera

Harry passed away peacefully in his sleep at home at the age of 72 on December 29, 2015. Harry was born and raised in San Francisco and was the son of the late Harry Higuera Sr., Walter and Clara Sentinella, and brother of the late, Raymond Higuera.

Harry is survived by his loving wife Dorothy; sons, Steven, Eric, Paul (Summer), grandchildren; Bianca, Jack, Samuel, and William, his trusty K-9 Beagle, Mikey, as well as countless relatives and friends.

Harry graduated from Capuchino High School and soon after served in the US Navy aboard the USS Hornet. He was a longtime resident of South San Francisco where he was a loyal neighbor and true friend to many. Harry was a devoted 40 year employee with 7Up Bottling Co. in San Francisco. After his retirement, he enjoyed working for the San Francisco Giants at AT&T Park. His true passion included coaching youth sports for over 30 years within the following organizations: Millbrae Lions baseball, St. Dunstan's School baseball, and SSF Little League. Harry also served with the Cub Scouts as a Cubmaster for Pack 79 in SSF. In his most recent years, Harry was active with the IACC Bocce Ball leagues in SSF.

Services will be held Monday, January 4, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Veronica's Church, 434 Alida Way, South San Francisco, CA.
